Eye-D

Eye-D is an app that’s geared toward individuals with reduced eye sight. The app makes it easy for them to receive information about their environment in a quick and trustworthy way, which could be especially helpful in new and unknown places.

From the main menu, which has a large font, you can easily access any of the app's features. The first and most important one is the ‘where am I’ feature. By clicking on the button, the app processes your location and instantly informs you about the place (or possible places) where you are.

Another great feature of Eye-D is that it focuses the camera of your smartphone on any direction to figure out what’s there. For example, if you can’t really see what’s on the floor a couple of meters away, just point your smartphone’s camera and the app instantly lets you know what’s in front of you.
